Finally done! This was probabbly the hardest repair I have ever done. I received this board to take a look is it repairable. The LED switches indications were not working at all, water pump switch, navigation lights, deck light, fridge, one water tank, reserve switches 3 and 4, and so on...
Board was consuming 1.5 Amps in stanby while normal working boards consume around 15,20 miliamps. I have never seen so many damaged things on Bavaria board at once except for thunder strike, so my assumption is that either someone switched + and - or some big overvoltage strike happened. I am quite farmilliar how this board works, so I decided to give it a try although by the first look at it, any repair attempt is just great loss of time.
Almoust 1/3 of the whole board was replaced and here is the list of components that were gone for good:
-BTS 640S2 High side MOSFET switch
-2X BTS740S2 Smart high side power driver
-6X ULN2003A High Voltage/current Darlington array
-3 Schottky Diodes
-3 fast switching diodes 4148
-3 ceramic capacitors
- 3X 74HC series shift registers
- 74HC Quad NAND input gate
- 4X NPN transistors
After 8-10 hours of work it is finally working as it should!
