Garmin with well known problems with card reader. I was getting a lot of queries am I able to repair it. Unfortunately spare card readers are really hard to find, and they can be quite expensive with import charges and work for replacing it.
Card reader looks awfull, when I tried to bend a pins a little they broke immidiately because of corrosion. So I decided to give it a try without spare card reader. The only problem is that card will stay inside chartplotter and hole for card reader need to be sealed which is not a problem because on Garmin chartplotters water comes in always through card reader. So the best thing to do is to seal it anyway... And it works.
